Linking, backlinks, forward links and whatever links. Without a doubt linking to other websites and getting links back to your site is good promotion sense. Blogs are the in thing to do these days, just for the fun of having a blog or promoting a business.
So far i have been using wordpress and find it one of the best thus far, having the options needed to scale it just about any you can think of. Tons of plug in’s and widgets for your every need. Developers have spent endless hours proofing a great product.
I have to recommed the Blog Traffic Exchange as a great tool for linking and getting related websites and post delivered to your blog. There are great benefits from this site and linking to them will surley increase your traffic ranking in search engines. Be advised though, their service is provided for original content as I found out the hard way.
A few other ways to get out there using Social Websites. Twitter is good but again you have to be a little caring and not hit them with to many advertisements at once, or you stand a chance of getting locked out. Facebook is another decent site for building groups and staying in contact with your business assocciates working new business. I have not worked to hard with Myspace; but I am exploring that option also.
